(More customer reviews)The Camp Chef SPG-90B has been a perfect choice for a camp stove and the BBQ box makes a good combination on top of this 3-burner stove. It is much sturdier than it looks in photos. It sets up in 2 minutes, and really IS portable despite having 3 burners. We wanted to look at one in person, but couldn't find a retailer anywhere in the area so we took a chance on buying this on the internet. Delivery was FAST! However, the photo on the internet shows a rack underneath and the description clearly says that it comes with a rack underneath. FYI - It doesn't. You have to buy one separately and it's $20-$30 from other sources. We do not regret this purchase though.

(More customer reviews)I was looking for a three burner campstove when I found this Camp Chef 90D. The three 30,000 btu burners boil water for your coffee really fast on a cold morning and they fry those hash browns for breakfast... crisp and quick. This is not an overnight unit. Short trips deserve simplicity and an old two burner Coleman works fine for one or two nights.... but for those 5,6,7 day or or longer campouts... this is a great product. I even use it in the backyard to accompany my Weber when cooking for a crowd. The grill is industrial strength and the bars are a little far apart so you have to be careful how you set down smaller pots. My next purchase is the carry bag for this 58 pound behemouth and the two burner BBQ box to upgrade my camp kitchen output. The legs are not adjustable but very sturdy. Carefull... Amazon sold me what was suppose to be a NEW unit but it came with a bent faceplate and scrapes on the legs... but for the price I just took it with me rather than return.

(More customer reviews)love love love this... we bought it last summer to replace our tiny RVQ - (which had low btu, tiny grilling surface - and required a rv mount on the wall) after 2 summers of use - including a 24 day camping trip we can only repeat we love this stove. Our only negatives are
- needs a wind screen on the under side where the burners are - they extinguish very easily in a cross wind... we use this on the outer banks trips and there is much cross wind there - so grilling is a bit tricky there (we are going to get a local metal fabricator to make a screen we can hang on the legs) (we called company they don't make a screen for bottom)
- its Really Really heavy....
- legs some times collect water in them if you leave it out in the rain (drill a hole in the bottom to stop that..)
pros
- its very well made (hence very heavy)
- its super powerful high btu-- we have no issues cooking a steak and getting an awesome char on it.
- its very versatile -- we use it as our emerg cooker for hurricane season, RV bbq, and secondary bbq for big picnics
- lots of accessories
- very stable - legs have the perfect angle to give good stability.
- works as stove or a bbq etc
- side shelves (optional) double as a cover - no need for a fabric cover.
- easy to clean with degreaser, a kitchen brush and a garden hose :)
- the controls are well calibrated - you can simmer or sear without issue
- big surface area to accommodate large pans, or griddles.
- enamel surfaces are very durable - they have not chipped or even scuffed after 2 summers of use and frankly we are pretty rough on our camping bbq gear... only item that scuffed was the legs

(More customer reviews)I bought this one burner camp chef stove to add to the 2 burner I had already purchased. We use these stoves to cook breakfast before riding off on ATV's. So we are not setting around camp after having breakfast. We need to clean up the dishes, fold camp back up and put it away in the Pick-up Bed with a fiberglass cover and hit the trail. With the griddle going cooking bacon and also another skillet going we needed a place to have a coffee pot cooking. And also needed to be heating water to do dishes quickly. After the bacon is cooked we have one burner heating hash brown patties and the other doing scrambled eggs with chili at the last, so the 2 burner camp chef is busy. Eggs are coordinated to be ready when the Dutch Oven biscuits are done. Why screw this gourmet breakfast up with a flimsy throw away plastic fork. This one burner stove also works with the BBQ grill and Griddle for the Camp Chef products if needed. It fits nicely in the box it came in for storage. I trashed the carry case for the two burner Camp Chef. The hardest part of breaking up camp was putting that two burner stove back in the carrying case. The zipper broke after two uses anyway. It looks cool but life is better without the frustration of trying to put it back in the case. The One Burner Camp Chef takes the pressure off doing it all quickly on just 2 burners. These two stoves with a 5# and a 10# butane tank is cool. Lots of convenient firepower that is easy to set up and put away.

(More customer reviews)I purchased this a little over a year ago because I couldn't afford to spend 5K on an all grain home brewing system like a brew magic. Don't get me wrong, I would love to be able to afford one, but until I can this piece is central to my home brew set up!
I was able to mount (screw) securely a magnetic pump to one of the legs. Every other weekend I'm able to do 5 gallon all grain brew projects. One burner is for my HLT, with water conveyed via the pump to the other burner with my mash tun. The only draw back is that I do have to run into a brew kettle off the unit and then move the HLT to free up that burner for the kettle. I'm looking to eventually connect this unit to a single unit (once I find a single unit to match this units height) and then do all wort movement via a second pump (and thus eliminating the need to free up the HLT space for the kettle).
For a home brewer, this unit allows for a bit of creativity in opening the door to begin crafting a sculpture of your own (sure I read BYO, but I don't MIG weld and god save you if you decide to buy stainless steel and have it shipped to you! Ouch!) This unit has been the base for close to 120 gallons a year of beer brewing, and all for less then 300 dollars start up(pump, unit cover and LPG ). If you're on the fence trying to decide what to do and how to go about setting up a home brew sculpture, I hope you find this review!
