(More customer reviews)For years I've fought with trivets and I've bought dozens of them searching for the perfect one. This is it, no questions asked. It looks great on the table, and really grips both the dish and the table so everything stays put. No spinning casserole dishes or pots that slide away when you try to serve from them...much safer especially with kids around. If you buy two, they will neatly fit together and you can place a very very large serving piece on it. I wish it was a bit cheaper, as the price seemed a bit excessive, but it really is a nifty item and makes a terrific gift for a choosy cook.
