(More customer reviews)I purchased this crock pot for two reasons: mulled cider at the office and overnight Irish oatmeal. For the price (under $10), this was money very well spent and it handles those two tasks perfectly. Buyers must remember that this has only one setting (low). I plan on using it for soups and stews. I would not use it for anything dry (but then again, I wouldn't use my other huge crock pot for anything dry either) because past experience has shown drier applications to cook unevenly in crock pots. In addition, it is PERFECT for two reasonable servings.
