I purchased this steamer as a Christmas gift for my wife in 2006. Within a few weeks it started to leak and then the digital clock failed. We returned it to the company for replacement. They sent a new one, and the clock on that one also failed, so we retuned it in Oct. of '07. They finally sent us another new one in Feb. of '08. Within a few days, the digital clock on this unit failed. I can accept that one unit can have a defect, and it's not out of the question that a second one could, by coincidence, also have the same defect, but three units with the exact same defect??? I don't think so. This is a good looking product that is inferior in quality. Stay away from it!

Easily steam all kinds of food, from veggies and rice to seafood and meats, with this electronic triple-decker 9-1/2-quart food steamer. Three individual steaming tiers allow for steaming three different foods at once, while an exterior water-level indicator makes it possible to monitor levels at a glance. Exterior water inlets on both sides of the unit's stainless-steel base offer a convenient way to add water during operation. Other highlights include an automatic keep-warm function, automatic shut-off, a digital timer, stay-cool handles, and simple push-button controls. Best of all, the steamer's removable parts clean up easily by hand or in the dishwasher and its base wipes clean with a damp cloth. Accessories include a rice bowl, a measuring cup, and a user guide for getting started. The 800-watt food steamer measures 9 by 11 by 16 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty.
